The only true coffee shop in Cardiff that seems to stay open into the night. An excellent atmosphere for night owls, offering a wide range of coffees and snacks. Alcoholic beverages are also available if you fancy a glass of wine to complement your food. Sit back and relax in the cozy candlelit environment.
This coffee shop can get quite busy and sometimes it is difficult to find a seat, but there's nothing like getting a take out coffee or hot chocolate with cream and marshmallows, on your way home from the pub.

Location
The popularity for Coffee #1 has grown - people just can't get enough of it which is probably why the company now has 3 coffee shops in Cardiff (Wood Street, Albany Road, Wellfield Road).
Offering a wide range of flavoured coffees (cakes and snacks too), Coffee#1 recently took the decision to move their house blends to 100% Organic Fairtrade status.
With nice wooden decor, and some comfy leather sofas it is quite easy to relax for an hour or two whilst sipping and chatting. It's just a pity that Coffee #1 doesn't stay open beyond 6pm.
